At Eddie’s, we believe food is more than just a meal – it is an experience that nourishes your soul and rewards your day.

THE FOUNDATION

Growing up, I’d make Saturday market runs with Mom, gathering groceries for the house. From these groceries, Mom created her magic–a symphony of textures and aromas. Her hands dancing over pomo, crayfish, dry fish, eja kanos and panla. Her kitchen was always alive with sizzling sounds and flavors that pulled us all in.

Her egusi soup was legendary: thick, waterless, lumpy with “orishirishis,” so decadent that Baba would complain because it only lasted a day. But Mom welcomed just about anyone to dine with us: school friends, neighborhood buddies, and extended family. Her table stretched to hold them all, every Saturday.

She cooked with her whole being; every stir of the pot infused with pride and fierce love. When dementia finally quieted her bustling kitchen, I found myself feeding her, just as she had fed us growing up. I am forever grateful to be her son. The circle, complete.

KEEPING WITH THE TRADITION

My strong desire to celebrate my mom’s passion and commitment to cooking, prompted me to establish Eddie’s in the same neighborhood and house where I grew up.

We established Eddies’s as a welcoming family-friendly eatery for those who desire to experience delicious, quality, comfort meals created with mastery and passion.

We want our guests to experience Mom’s passion for cooking – with every meal cooked-to-order and unique to each guest. Our food is quality, fresh and made with top-quality ingredients–all flavorfully prepared with expertise.

At Eddie’s, the Restaurant is our Dining Room and the Lounge is our Living Room. Our diners are our guests–we treat them like family and friends. And for those who are unable to dine-in, we promise to meet them wherever they are–offices, homes, online and at events–delivering the same quality, fresh, top-quality ingredients in cooked-to-order meals.
